Trees to Sea Counseling NW
Helping individuals and couples navigate dating, desire, compulsive sexual behavior, and relationship transitions — with a trauma-informed, shame-reducing approach.
A Different Kind of Practice
Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who feel stuck in painful relational or sexual patterns. My work is grounded in attachment, nervous system awareness, and deep respect for sexual diversity — helping you move toward clarity, connection, and integrity in your relationships.
“Many therapists don’t talk about these things. Here, nothing about your desire, your relationship structure, or your history is too complicated to bring.”
Core Areas of Focus
Services
A Quiet Specialty
I work with many men who feel stuck in modern dating, emotional connection, or sexual behavior patterns. Our work focuses on building confidence, relational clarity, and integrity — without shame or performance pressure. Many men tell me I’m the first therapist they’ve felt comfortable being fully honest with.
Start the ConversationProcess Group
A structured, confidential process group for men working on sexual integrity, shame reduction, and healthier relational patterns. Combines psychoeducation with group process in a non-judgmental, supportive environment.
Group meets weekly via secure telehealth. Limited to 6–8 participants to maintain depth and safety. Open to men anywhere in Oregon.
The next group cohort is forming now. Add your name to be notified when enrollment opens — no commitment required.
Clinical Approach
My approach draws on attachment theory, nervous system science, and deep respect for the full spectrum of human sexuality and relational structure.
Our early relational patterns shape everything — how we pursue and avoid intimacy, how we regulate emotion, how we experience desire. Therapy surfaces those patterns gently and without judgment.
Many relational and sexual struggles have roots in earlier wounds. This work moves at your pace and never requires you to re-live what you’re not ready to approach.
Shame thrives in silence. A central part of this work is creating space where no behavior, desire, or history is too complicated to examine honestly and with compassion.
I am kink-affirming, ENM-affirming, and poly-affirming. Whether you’re exploring your sexuality or working through compulsive behavior, you’ll find non-judgmental support here.
Lasting change happens at the body level, not just the cognitive level. Sessions integrate somatic awareness alongside insight and narrative work.
Insight matters. So do tools. Depending on your goals, therapy may include concrete practices, frameworks, and strategies you can use between sessions.
About
I specialize in the complex intersection of attachment, intimacy, and sexual behavior. For over a decade, I’ve worked with individuals and couples navigating shame, desire conflicts, compulsive patterns, and relationship transitions — including clients others haven’t always known how to hold.
My clinical background includes work with mandated clients, specialized training in compulsive sexual behavior, and perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C). I believe the people most in need of skilled, affirming care are often the ones who feel they have the least permission to ask for it.
